    Rolling up Solar Cover

Anyone have any certain way they roll up their solar covers? Ours is pretty good and in a free form shape, and it is a pain to roll up. We cant get a solar reel cause of diving board, etc.

    Re: Rolling up Solar Cover

There are many ways of doing it. A fan fold often works well. Sometimes with a very large pool, it is easier to cut the cover up into sections and deal with the sections separately.

You don't have to put the reel at the end of the pool. Mine is at the diving board end, about 8ft from the end of the pool. We just lift the reel and cover over the board and set it along the back side when we swim. The cover rolls from both directions.
