Problem with auto fill

Is the 2 foot tube/line from the pool to the auto fill area open?
I ask because I wonder if mine could be clogged with debris -- and how to unclog it?

Yes, there should be an open pipe between the autofill basin and the pool so the water level is the same in both places.

Sometimes just sticking a running garden hose in will wash out any debris.

Hi Jason,
Are you the one who answered my question?
If so, thank you --- and I will try the running garden hose.
Yesterday, I used a piece of wire but it kept hitting something and wouldn't go from the pool side of the tube to the basin side.
I assume the tube should be a clear passage way --- no flaps or obstruction of any kind ---

The pipe shouldn't have any obstructions, but it might have 90 degree turns in it.
