Thread: Pool cover

    Pool cover

I heard a few people say they do not use a winter cover, and saw lots of pools in the area with no winter cover. I live in Clayton NC and not sure if that is a good idea, any advise.

In NC you can probably leave your pool open year round. As long as you don't get a really hard freeze, you can just have the pump running any time it is below freezing and not winterize. You spend a little more on electricity keeping the pump running, though the pump doesn't need to run as much as it does when the water is warm.
