    Chlorine Test on Taylor 2006

While testing free chlorine, I notice that the bottom say 10% of the water stays pink while the top is all clear. IS this normal? Or do I need to keep adding drops until it is totally clear..

You should be swirling to mix the sample continuously, so you shouldn't see anything like what you describe. In the end it should be totally clear.

I am swirling, but like 90% of my water is clear, just the very bottom is pink.. eventually after more drops and swirling it goes away..

If it forms a colored layer like that you should slow down on adding drops and keep swirling to mix until the color is uniform throughout the sample.
