We were forced to open a week later than expected due to high winds but no harm done. Hubby and I took the cover off yesterday and it's crystal clear with just a small bit of leaves in the bottom (they all moved to the middle within the first 30 minutes of having the pump running). Filled 'er up and pump is running. Test levels looking ok. Immediately, I'll need to work on CYA but otherwise the rest just looks like chlorine and muriatic acid maintenance for the time being :-D I do need to test my CH levels because they were pretty low at the end of last season (right after we had the pool installed), but I'll save that for another day.
