Does the volume of the CL in the LQ change the concentration on the CL being delivered? I have an 8 gal LQ and today decided I was tired of refilling it every two weeks with 2 gals (for maybe 3 gals max in there) and I went and got two cases of CL and put 4 gals in on top of the 2ish gals that were already there. Didn't touch my flow settings and tonight my CL was up 4 pts which means the pool got about a 1/2 gal of 12.5% CL! I was running at about a -.5 ppm per day CL rate with where my LQ was set so this was a huge reversal.
Does the volume of CL in the LQ matter?

I think you have to leave some room for pool water to mix with the CL in the liquidator.
It doesn't make a huge difference but it does make a difference when the level gets fairly low. I would refill mine whenever it got down to about 2 gallons and never noticed a difference in the amount of FC added to the pool.
Zea3, I was still well below the line where the funnel meets the tube so I think I'm fine. But more CL does mean less water so that would affect dilution right?
