New guy with new pool and set up

I recently put in a doughboy above ground pool. I installed a inline chlorine feeder (CL-200) but plan to use that only as a back up when I am away. I am wondering if this pump will work to continually infuse bleach.

It is a litermeter 3 pump which I have used on saltwater fishtanks. it will deliver small doses of liquid/chemical over the period of a day. I have it set up on a timer to infuse bleach 12 hours /day when the pump/filter is on.

As long as you insure it's not injecting bleach when the main pump isn't on then it should work fine.
A cheaper solution would be just a peristaltic pump but if you already have it there's no reason not to use it.
