    Completely drain pool?

    The other day I drained my pool but I haven't been able to get the last foot or two of water out? Once the water level reached a certain point my pump will no longer suck the water out. I'm trying to replace three drain covers but u can't even see them through the green water at the bottom. Any tips?
    16K gal, IG plaster, DE filter, 2.5 HP Pentair Challenger

    Siphon hose maybe? How about a bilge pump for a boat with some hose?

    I went thru same problem get a sump pump and pump it out
    16\32 30,000 gallon inground pool triton II sand filter 3 h.p pump hayward chrlorinator
