Solar Covers - Above Ground vs Inground

[Clueless]

I have an in ground pool and am looking for a solar cover. I found this one that is close enough to my size but it says in the description that it's an above ground type. I can't for the life of me figure out how there could be two types but i bet somewhere here can help me.

Also, should the cover fit PERFECTLY or can it have some space between the cover and the walls?

If you are looking for a clear cover, that should be fine. having some space is OK, but not optimal. That said it should be just fine and there is no difference, IG vs AGP.

Just make sure it's bigger and you can trim it to fit perfectly.
