    Question on CompuPool SWG

I finally took the plunge and ordered a SWG. The manual says to mount the cell horizontally - my question is, why? Will it not work unless completely horizontal, or not work as well? Just curious. Can't wait to get this thing working!

It has to be horizontal. This is so the gas trap sensors will work properly. The gas trap sensor is used in place of a flow switch.

it's probably to ensure that water drains when the pump shuts off. i'd say it will work both ways, but you risk a meltdown if the water left in the cell when the pump is off.
