Which size Liquidator and accessories?

So after only getting in on the whole TFP wagon for about 1/2 of last year, I would like to get the full benefits this year. So one thing I'd like to do is install the Liquidator to avoid having to manually add chlorine bleach. Based on my pool (36k gallons), what size Liquidator should I get and what accessories should I consider? I'd imagine the larger size is simply more convenient? What is the '3/8" Upgrade' I see mentioned? I just read the last post about one outfit kinda abusing there posting privileges, so who is a good company to buy from? Thanks!

So if I see what some have said, the Liquidator might NOT be recommended for this large of a pool? If that's the case, what other options are out there that aren't several hundred dollars or more?

A peristaltic pump and tank is your best option. A Stenner pump can be had for about $260 and a drum can be found for about $20. I like the LQ but wouldn't recommend it for your size pool.

Thanks for that info. What else is necessary? Is there some sort of a timer or flow device necessary to maintain the appropriate flow of chlorine?

Some peristaltic pumps have an adjustable flow rate, or you can use a fixed rate pump and a simple timer.

I just found Bama Rambler's other post about doing this. Looks like wiring it into my existing pump timer is the way to go.

There have been several reports of people using the Rola-chem pumps and there have been no negative reports. I like the Stenner but that's just due to their track record.
