Opening a pool for first time using the TFP method

I implemented the TFP method last year to great results.

This will be the first year I open a pool using this method. Is there a page/document on the steps I need to follow to open my pool?

There are many variations, depending on your particular pool. There are some general guidelines written for above ground pools in this article in Pool School.

If you tell us more about your pool we can be more specific.

Man, he's fast! I just found the link and was all set to post it.

If you've been using TFP methods, may I assume you have a decent test kit? Because once you have water and circulation, you need some base readings so you know what to add, and how much, and most importantly, not be reliant on some fast-talking pool store salesman.

And now I get to try out the smiley I made!!
