Our pool was opened last week and the filter ran for 2.5 days as we circulatated the heavy chemical dump. It is currently about 2 degrees celcius out and wonder how long do I have to run the filter each day in this type of weather if at all.

It is good to run the pump a little, say an hour a day, even in very cold weather. Also, if there is any chance of freezing, you will want the pump running.
