Anyone know anything about these EcoPumps, or know some place I can get some customer reviews or feedback on these pumps.

I assume you mean ecopoolpumps.com. They are new, little is known about them. They don't publish very much useful information on their web site, much of it is technical gobbledygook that doesn't appear to mean anything or is misleading. From what little technical information is available, it appears that a true variable speed pump is far more efficient than they are.

Seconded! 230 watts to circulate a .75 hp pump, (that's circulate not filter) how is that eco?
