    Trichlor and pool calculator

If trichlor is used as a source of chlorine (vacation), does the pool calculator take into consideration of its effects on pH in the acid needed section? In other words, is the amount of MA calculated lowered because of using trochlor?

No. Each chemical is treated separately, with only one exception. The current TA level is taken into account in the PH calculation. Otherwise everything is calculated independently.
