DH and I have finally made the decision to go forward with our IG pool! We signed a contract a few weeks ago, and digging is set to start on 25 April! Thanks for the help with the few questions I've asked and gotten great responses to - it really helped us choose our builder and equipment!
Our specs are as follows:
Oasis 16x34 IG Pool (with vinyl liner)
Sta-Rite s7m120 Mod Media Filter (1 hp)
Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro Pump
Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm Heater (Propane)
2" Plumbing
2 Bottom Drains
3 Returns
1 Skimmer
Concrete with Foam Floor
Aluminum Coping
3 Nexxus LED lights
Goldline SWG (T-15 Cell)
Cozy Cove in Deep End
Solar Cover/Reel
Safety Cover
DH is also pulling up our pressure treated back deck and will be replacing it with Azek decking material. Should be complete by mid - late May!
I will be ordering a test kit in the next couple of days so we are ready to go when the pool gets water! I know I already have questions on how to operate the SWG, especially with the cold water temps in the early stages, so any advice in general is appreciated! I'll be sure to post specific questions in the SWG forum
