Need recommendation for Straight 8 ft Aluminum Pool Pole

I am looking for a Straight (non-telescopic) 8 feet pool pole built of thick high-quality aluminum tube so it can last long, but it seems no manufacturers sell straight poles anymore.

I do not like telescopic poles because they do not stay locked and inner pole starts to slip. May be if I spend $60 on a professional quality telescopic pole (I am thinking of Skimlite 9000 series here), I will not have slip problem but then $60 is too much for a pole.

Can someone please suggest a good straight pole and a link to buy it?

Skimlite sells EZ 8 ft aluminum poles in pair of 2 or 3, but the question is can I use these 8 ft poles independently without snapping them together? In other words, can I put the white hand grip on any of these poles? Here is the link: http://www.skimlite.com/ezship.html

    Thanks a lot.

To prevent slipping, I drill a 1/4 inch hole through both sections and use a 1/4 inch bolt to secure them together.

If you want a solid 8 foot pole, here are a few.
