Hi Guys,
New owner of an old pool. Just bought EcoStar VS after some research on this site. I will install it myself. Any heads up will be helpful and appreciated. On question I have is that I have the same Intermatic Timer as in the above picture and Heater and pump are on the same load screws ( #2 # 4). I know I have to connect the pump to #1 and #3. But can I leave the gas heater on the same timer on #2/#4. ?

Yes, you can leave the heater controlled by the Intermatic timer while wiring the EcoStar directly to power on #1 & #3.

You want to be careful to program the timers so that the heater is never on when the pump is off.
