How can I add dichlor?

Got a spa which obviously is not deep. Directions say to add dichlor to the deep end, but I don't want it to hurt my finish on my shallow spa. Can I just add it to the skimmer instead?

I'm adding dichlor because my CYA is low by the way.

You can predissolve the dichlor in a bucket of water from your spa and add it when it is dissolved by slowly pouring it in while the pump is running. Dichlor dissolves really quickly so it shouldn't take you very long.
