    Sock while Vacuuming?

Should I use a sock while vacuuming? There are a lot of little seeds from trees next door that have settled on the pool floor along with dirt and I was wondering if I should add a sock to the skimmer while I vacuum to help catch them. I vacuumed a little while yesturday and noticed the basket did not catch it since it is so small and some of the seeds seemed to come back through the return, although most of them seemed to be caught in the filter.

I recommend using one, you just have to be careful not to go too long without emptying it, as it will fill up quickly.
