i just purchaced an above ground pool from intex and want to get the saltwater system to go with. Intex tells me i need the model number cs8110 but i have looked online and cannot find it. will other models work with this pump? its a 635t.

Yes, other models will work with that pump. Just search Amazon for Intex salt water system and you'll find plenty.
