Wow this site is a font of information!!

Hello all, just took the plunge and bought a 24' aboveground to be installed this spring. Looking forward to watching the kids play and swimming all summer. I'm little nervous about the testing and maintenance, how much time do people usually spend per week taking care of the testing and cleaning?

I'm sure I'll have some questions along the way but hopefully I'll have absorbed enough from the Pool School to get a good start.

Welcome to the forum  You'll test a lot at first and you'll be pretty slow. The learning curve is very quick and you'll find the testing will be a breeze.

I would say a good regimen is 20 minutes weekly for the whole series of tests we like to see and then about 2 minutes daily for the pH and OTO chlorine test. Some continue that daily test but as you get to know your pool, you may decide to simply do the weekly tests.
