Sand Filter, Cartridge filter (waterway100) or D E Filtration system?

Are the cartridges good? how oftern do you clean, replace etc...

All three filter types are good, each has advantages and disadvantages. Various people here are happy with each kind. There is an article in Pool School, see the link near the top right of each page, that covers the pros and cons fairly well.
