Hope I have placed this question in the correct forum..
I have one skimmer for my pool and at the deck level above it there is concrete with a metal grate in it for access. Over the years, this concrete has begun to crumble and break away exposing the rebar underneath. Big chunks are now missing causing a minor safety hazard for swimmers who are maybe not careful where they step. Looking for some repair ideas before I get a bunch of contractors out for bids. The challenge as I see it is directly below this concrete is pool water and I suppose that I could drain a little water out but would appreciate your ideas as to the proper approach to replacing this piece of concrete.
