What SWGs are good at automating chem and chlorine

PH and ORP automation doesn't really make your life easier, at least most of the time. They make the entire system more complex, giving you more things that need setup and maintenance, and also giving the system more ways it can break. In an outdoor residential pool ORP automation is almost never worth the trouble. PH automation can be nice sometimes, but you can usually achieve the same effect by balancing your levels carefully so the PH doesn't drift too much.

You can usually get through a week away by shocking the pool and then covering it. That won't be enough if there is a major storm or a leak, but in those cases nothing would be. Having a main drain helps, because it allows the pump to keep running even if the skimmer gets clogged.
