    Hayward filter

First time on here, got some great ideas already from this forum.

I have just purchased a sterns blue seas 15ftX10ft splasher pool and it has got a hayward c225 filter with it but no pump. Can anyone tell me what flow rate pump i should use with it?

I would look for a 1/2 hp above ground pool pump, nothing larger than a 3/4 hp. A 2 speed 1/2 hp or 3/4 hp would be even better. Hayward or Pentair brands would be fine.

You will normally see these filters paired with a Hayward Power Flow LX 40 gpm pump or the Hayward Power Flow LX SP1540C.
Both models are a little less than 1/2 hp.

Turn over rate for 15,000 gallons is 8 hours with this combination.

20x40 free-form IG vinyl, 1hp Hayward superpump, Hayward pro grid DE filter, Raypak heatpump, Goldline Aquarite SWCG, Polaris 280 with booster, and tested using a Taylor K2006.
