It looks to be a three speed, appears to not go slowly enough at low speed to get the full advantage of a variable speed, though I can't be sure as I haven't found good tech specs yet.

Selling it as an upgrade, ie without a pump, is a difficult sell. Still, I saw one on the net for around $500, which is a good price.
