New Pool Under Construction - Riverside CA

I'm happy with the Firemagic Equipment, TOP quality, but it is very expensive. My Grill is a 50" Elite, I don't think they make this specific model any more. It has held up very well over the last 5+ years and cleaned up very well after a lot of neglect. But I don't think I will ever get my money's worth out of the project.

Have you seen my Project here: http://www.bbqsource-forums.com/invboar ... topic=8095

If I was starting all over, I would have to seriously consider this grill:

The Sink is cold only (ran a line at the same time as the sprinkler/pool run). It drains into the concrete floor drains (then down the side of the hill). I don't plan to use the sink for much more than a light hand washing and rinsing stuff off.

Funny Story:

When I cooked the turkey last year I was VERY careful with the oil and measuring the quantity. I turned the burner off to lower the bird, etc. Everything went fine. A couple weeks ago we made french fries on the Wok Burner. I put the oil into the smaller pot and got everything up to temperature. My wife then proceeds to dump a couple too many fries into the pot. It is NO FUN at all to watch the oil overflow onto the burner!! I was able to turn off the burner and remove the pot with no real harm done to anything. I don't think she will make that mistake again :)

Interesting tip on the pellet grill. A buddy of mine has one of those (but in black... kinda looks like a pot still!), and it really does a good job of cooking, though it's not so great for grill marks on steaks. I'll definitely check that out. As for drainage, for now I think we'll just build a french drain somewhere and have the water run to that. At some point down the road, we'll probably add a bathroom/shower to the pool house, and then I'll run a line to the main sewer. But that will probably be quite an expensive job, so we'll just keep it simple for now.

What a great looking build!
