New Pool Under Construction - Riverside CA

Oh, I guess I never posted the final photo of the spillway. I don't love it, but we couldn't come up with a better solution.

I made a sketch of what I liked, but it required every tile to be cut at least 2 times.

And here is the final product with the Coping

Retaining Walls passed inspection. It was $480 just for the "Retaining Wall Permit". I guess the county could have even charged for 2 permits since there are two separate walls. :roll:

As you can see these are very large retaining walls and probably required special engineering and inspections, not to mention soil evaluation, earthquake and tornado prep. :hammer:


I guess the Pool Permit was only $420

Plaster is on the pool. I think it will all look a little different tomorrow after the power and acid wash. Most of the pebble seems to be covered in a thin layer of concrete.
