Should I use the vac in low speed?

Is there any reason not to use the manual vac with the pump in low speed. It's got plenty of suction with the vac hooked up to one
skimmer and the other skimmer and the main drain valved off.

There's no reason not to. As long as you have good suction it's fine to use low speed.
