I live in Florida where we are experiencing an early winter. My SWG is no longer producing chlorine because the water temp is too cold so I'm adding bleach the old fashion way. I have the SWG turned off but I'm wondering if it is ok to unplug the unit? I don't know if it draws any power while plugged but "off".

Some folks remove the cell from the unit during the winter so I don't see what harm could come from simply unplugging it.
Not that a salt cell is a big draw of power when it's running, but when it isn't producing, it isn't drawing hardly any. No need to unplug it.
