Solar cover winter storage

I am wondering if anyone has left their solar blankets outside over the winter. I packed mine away in one of those large plastic deck boxes and plan to leave it outside over the winter. I live in the New England area and it obviously gets very cold, so I'm a little worried about how it may survive the winter here.

I'm in central Mass. I leave mine outside on the reel. But, I cover it up with a winter cover (zips over the rolled up cover) and wrap up the ends of the reel with tarps.

I don't think cold will hurt it unless you tray to move it while cold. Sunlight is the big killer.

Good to know. I guess it's safe then as long as it's folded up inside my deck box.
