This weekend I took out my Polaris cleaner out of the water for a general clean up/check up. A yellowish/orangeish goo that formed in the inside of the rubber wheels caught my attention. I put the wheels in a strong solution of Clorox just in case it was some sort of algae, but I have no idea what it could be. My water chemistry looks as follows:

Water Temp= 50-62 (last 2.5 weeks)
SWCG @ 35%
Pump Time: 2 hrs morning, 2 hours afternoon
FC= 8
CC=0
TC=8
PH=7.5
Alk=60
CYA=65-70

Anyone with similar issue or ideas of what that goo could be?

Nah...it is not greasy at all. In fact, I could get it off the wheels with hands and just wash it off with plain water. At first I thought it could be rust from the mechanism inside the cleaner, but it doesn't seem the case.

It's probably is organic then. Cleaning them with a bleach solution and then running your pool with a high FC like you are for a while should handle things. I'd be curious to know if it comes back afterwards.
