i'm looking to install a solar system on my roof, but it's 3 stories up. and i'm curious if my whisperflow 1.5hp pump can handle it. i'm new to pools so don't know much about what is normal as far as installing these things. based on teh pump curve put out by pentair it looks like it can no problem, but i thought some real world feedback would be better than pump curves. thanks.

Give us the specific model number of the Whisperflo and we'll be better able to tell you if it'll work. My suspicion is that it'll be fine but we need the model to make sure.

each foot vertical would count as one foot of head. Add that to your other plumbing and equipment to get the total and then you can plug that into the curve.
