Quick! Someone put me up for idiot pool owner of the month.

Can't. I see too many pool owners in my line of work.

You can't imagine how far some people can sink. I can't upload the demotivator I read that sentence from, for the image is both unrelated and a bit gory, but: ''Cheer up! Someone somewhere is having a worst day than you!''.

Hey folks I hope everyone had a great weekend.

I retested the pool tonight, I figured I had drained half of it, but based on my test results I'd guess I only drained 1/3.

My CH is 750 and my CYA is 200, I had to use a diluted sample to estimate that reading, it sure is hard to not see the little black dot! So I'm guessing I have more water to drain, I may just drain the spa every weekend till I get the numbers balanced. I already have purple Calcium deposits on the tile and the pool is copper green, so it's not like I'm in a hurry to prevent something. Thanks everyone for the advice, I truly appreciate it!
