portable underwater speaker

I have a pool and i would like to listen to ipod music when doing exercise laps. I am looking for a portable waterproof speaker that I can lower into the pool connected to an amplifier connected to the ipod

I found only one post dating back 3 years

Does anyone have any recent experience with underwater speakers? either ibuilt-into the wall or portable?

do they work?

I've installed them in three pools in the last 15 years (one was the Four Seasons/Aviara and the other two were private residences). All of the clients were extremely happy with them, and they were added at the point of new construction. I'm not sure how well a portable one would work.

I really wish I had put them in my pool when I built it. Maybe in the next one.....

which do you/did you install? I have found two on the internet: Aquasonic by Clark and another by Lubell Labs

Both companies make post pool production and built-in versions
