How to plug the return - AGP

I have a question on how to plug the return on an above ground pool. This is my first season owning and closing, and want to make sure I do it right. I have used the BBB method all season and am so impressed, thank you guys for enlightening me :-D

Currently I have a two way valve on the return. The pump side, there are no threads, just a small little faucet looking plastic piece. The other side has a big plastic piece that looks like the pentair return with light

I'm unsure of how to plug this for closing the pool.

Unscrew the wall side or pump side, and plug it / or get a one way valve?

Unscrew the Aqua-illuminator from inside the pool and there will be threads in the fitting. Then you can either use a threaded plug or an expandable rubber plug.
