How to plug the return - AGP

I have a question on how to plug the return on an above ground pool. This is my first season owning and closing, and want to make sure I do it right. I have used the BBB method all season and am so impressed, thank you guys for enlightening me

Currently I have a two way valve on the return. The pump side, there are no threads, just a small little faucet looking plastic piece. The other side has a big plastic piece that looks like the pentair return with light ... id=GN38377

I'm unsure of how to plug this for closing the pool.

Unscrew the wall side or pump side, and plug it / or get a one way valve?

Unscrew the Aqua-illuminator from inside the pool and there will be threads in the fitting. Then you can either use a threaded plug or an expandable rubber plug.
