What is the best way to put on a winter cover and not blow off and not damage the pool? Should I use a air pillow under the cover? Any help is appreciated thanks
What part of the country do you live in? Do you get a lot of ice and snow in the winter? So will just pump off excess water with a pool cover pump or brush the snow off before it gets too heavy instead of using the pillow.
Some people use tie downs, like tent stakes or weighted old jugs tied through the eyelets along with the cinch wire to hold the cover on to an above ground pool.
We live in Cincinnati Ohio and the weather can go either way bad or mild. The wind is what I am concerned with. I guess just as long as the cover does not blow off ?
If you have metal uprights --you can get metal d-rings and attach them to the uprights and use some extra bungee straps. I am in the south and have strong wind/ rain storms thru out the winter season.
