    Pool Pump Leaking (pics added)

Being a pool newb for a year I noticed some leaking at the base of my pool pump over the weekend. Nothing noticeable on top reseated filter lid seems to be leaking from the lower end. I will post pics tonight when I get home. Looking for any help on what could be leaking.

    Thx in advance

That might be something as simple as getting the strainer basket lid on correctly. Or it might be something more serious like a failing shaft seal. See if you can narrow down exactly where the water is coming from.

See if the pump plug is loose. If not, stop in a pool store and pick up a new pump plug. Might cost you $2.

BTW, it's a 9/16" socket or wrench. Don't over tighter.
