    Awesome Aerator!

    I have seen this driving by the community pool a few times. I don't know if they do it for cooling or aeration, but it looks pretty cool! In case you have trouble seeing it in the video, it is a pool pump mounted on a wheeled base with a line that is dropped into the pool and it has twin pvc sprayers for output aimed into the pool.

    That is cool. Do you know what size the pump is?

    I can't get close enough to tell. Looks like a residential pump from a distance, so probably a 1 or 2 hp.

    My guess the main goal is to cool. I've had better luck getting the water as high as possible, though a slight wind pushes my water around a lot. With enough volume and a finer spray pattern the low trajectory probably works out fine.
