Fix A Leak ?

Has anyone ever used the "fix a leak" product for your underground pool pipe...
We think we have a leak in the skimmer pipe...I was just wondering if it was worth a try before we start digging up the line...

Ok...LOL...that is what I figured...usually quick solutions never work long
