Can anyone tell me if a new pool motor comes with a seal in it or not? We are almost out of daylight and trying to change the motor. We do not know if we need to change the seal too.
The motor does not come with a seal. You usually replace the seal everytime you replace the motor, but you can probably use the old one and just put some lube around it on the seal plate.
