The handheld has the solar programmed, but the light under the solar button is not lit in Auto Mode. In Service Mode, I can press the Solar button and it will light up and actuate the valve; but in Auto Mode the button for Solar won't light even though it is during the programmed Solar run time. Any idea why?

I'm not sure it says solar heat priority under the menu options. I know it has "pool heat" option to be enabled. I'll check the options again and see if it also has an option called solar heat priority...

Press menu, scroll to system setup, enter, scroll to solar heat priority, enter, select enable.
