i have a question about styrofoam insulation...my first question is that if i use 1 inch sand can i use 3/4 inch tounge and groove styrofoam board with gorrila pad...will this be enough for the weight of the water..basically im trying to avoid footprints in my agp..the pool we had before had alot of footprints and my cleaner would never work correctly...

There was a thread recently about using styrofoam board as the bottom and he was very pleased with it. I like the idea of T&G because taped together it would provide a level surface without any seems showiing.
