From the new pictures, your water is not too bad, but it can certainly be better. A sand filter can take a while to get the last little bits of cloudiness out. Adding a little DE, as mentioned above, can speed that up noticeably.
UPDATE:
Went ahead and drained the pool completely. Power washed it, and got up a lot of junk from the bottom. Had a little spot acid washing done and ground down some calcium nodules. The pool is refilling right now. Any tips on start up chemicals once its full. Have the in-laws coming in tomorrow night, so hopefully the pool is filled by then.
If you test your fill water, we can give you a better idea of what you should have on hand. For sure you will need CYA to 30-50ppm and bleach/liquid chlorine.
It's virtually impossible to give any advice on how to adjust the water. We need a full set of test results for a starting point then we can help fine tune it and get it sparkling.
