    DE in pool. Help!

    Backwashing DE filter. Son turned on infloor cleaners and filter while putting new DE into skimmer. Now, DE in pool. What do I do?
    Houston, TX
    16,500 gallon, 31x14 with raised spa, Pentair Quad DE filter, IG, pebblesheen, 2 hp sta-rite max e pro
    rainbow chlorinator, pcc2000 cleaning and circulation system with 1 hp sta-rite pump

    Vacuum it up. It'll go back into the filter.
    It's not really a bad thing. There have been folks that 'chlorinated' with DE powder from an unmarked pail. Wondering why their cl readings never came up...

    Will my infloor cleaner work to "vacuum" it, or should I manually vac?

    Manually, no doubt. It will be much quicker and more effective.
