Test Results

Hello folks,

Just wondering if someone could double check my results. I used my tf kit and also brought my water to the local pool company for testing.
I think my levels are right on per the boards recommendations but the pool folks told me the levels are WAY off and hes surprised my pool is clear.

Heres my test results:

FC 4
pH 7.7
TA 100
CH 113
CYA 45

The pool store is sad because they have nothing to sell you.

I think that you look good with those numbers.

Nothing to sell????

They wanted to sell me the following (when my wife brought the list home I just laughed)

Add 12 lbs of Alkalinity
Add 5 pounds of Lo N Slo
Add 4 pounds of Hardness
Add 4 bags of shock (8.00 a bag!!)
Add one bottle of algae inhibitor

I totalled this up and the price was 100 plus!!!

Your numbers look fine as long as you are using bleach or cal-hypo as a chlorine source.
