Just curious what VF owners use for their backwash GPM setting.
I have an older pool, with 1.5" piping, and reluctant to go much above 45 or 50 GPM. I just installed a VF pump yesterday, and based on viewing the filter pressure, I think the old 1 HP pump may have been pushing about 50 GPM or a bit less. It has a 48 square foot DE filter, and I just replaced all the grids today, due to the Leslies replacements not lasting much more than a year. (The internal skeletons started breaking, the original grids lasted about 10 years.)
