wanted to know if high phosphate level could be the cause of a fc reading of 0. have taylor k-- shows tc reading and all other #'s seem to be up to par. have been shocking but still no fc reading. water is crystal clear. 25,000 fiberglass with a cart. filter. Any suggestions?

Phosphate does not consume FC...algae does.
How are you shocking? What is your target shock FC? What are your numbers, including CYA? How are you chlorinating?

Phosphates won't cause your FC to go to zero. If you keep your FC level high enough for your CYA level (see chlorine/CYA chart) you can ignore phosphates.
